WEEK 3
One of the biggest mistakes we can make in disciple-making is jumping straight to teaching.
Before we teach people, we should understand people.
This week, your goal is simple: learn your person's story.
Ask them how they came to know Christ. Ask about their spiritual journey. Find out what has helped them grow, what challenges they face, and what they hope God will do in their life.
Don't worry about having all the answers.
Don't worry about fixing every problem.
Just listen.
The best disciple-makers are often the best listeners.
Need a place to start? Try asking:
• How did you come to know Jesus?
• What has helped you grow spiritually?
• What has been difficult?
• What do you think God is teaching you right now?
• What's one area where you'd like to grow?
Challenge:
Schedule one intentional conversation and learn your person's story.
