Missions

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8

We believe that worldwide missions is our mission. A statement of Jesus was recorded in Acts 1:8 where He gave us something of a strategy for accomplishing our mission of reaching the world. That strategy begins with Spirit-empowered Christians working together. That's why the first two facets of our missions statement are to walk with God and align with the church. On that foundation Jesus gives a game-plan of concentric circles (like a target with four rings). Jesus was speaking to the Christians in Jerusalem, so their four concentric circles were Jerusalem (home-town), Judea (home-region), Samaria (a local community of displaced people), and the uttermost parts of the earth. For Trinity, our four concentric circles of missions engagement are Texas City, the Galveston and Houston region, those near us who are outcast or downtrodden, and the entire globe through missionary partnerships.

How to help

Go

We believe God has gifted every believer for the work of ministry, and that those gifts are all various and unique. We'd love to talk with you about how you could use your gifting to advance the mission in any one of our four circles of missions engagement.

Give

We take very seriously the use of money to advance the gospel. Money given to missions allows us to create resources and opportunities for gospel ministry, and to support those in full-time gospel ministry so they can devote their whole lives to the work.

Join on a missions trip

One of the best ways to spark a fire in your heart for missions is to leave home and go to a mission field. We don't currently have a trip planned, but we will certainly begin planning as soon as we have enough interest. If you'd like to add your name to that list, fill out the form below.
